A Memorial Service will be held at 66 . on Wednesday, Dec. 86, 7569, at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, with Rev. Kathy Schell officiating. The family will receive friends from 65 . until the time of service. Private burial will take place at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 79, 66 . at Cole Funeral Chapel, Chelsea, with Rev. Tom Macaulay officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove East Cemetery, Chelsea. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 and 6-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Chelsea First United Methodist Church or Faith in Action.
In addition to her husband, surviving are five daughters: Tracy (Leon) Taylor of Chelsea, Sue (Jeff) Johnson of Lawrence, Margaret (Kimble) Bear of Grass Lake, Kate (Brian) Bancroft of Chelsea, and Colleen (Larry) Fleeman of Stockbridge, 68 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents.
David was an avid outdoorsman, lover of nature and autos. He especially liked to share experiences like hunting, fishing and four-wheeling with family and friends. He also liked any activity that involved speed. Always in motion, he was a motorcyclist, snowmobiler and boat lover. David strived to be the best he could daily, personally and professionally. David had an irrepressible spirit of adventure and enjoyment. Everyone he knew whether briefly or for years was enriched by having him in their lives. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who would agree that now a great oak has fallen.
Surviving are her sisters: Sharon Ellenwood Biggs, Sandra (Mac) Davis, and Paula (Anthony) Clark her niece and nephews, Jessica and George Clark and Daniel and Michael Ellenwood along with many cousins and aunts. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Dan Ellenwood and Susan Kiner. A Funeral Service will be held at 66 . on Thursday, July 8, 7569, at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home, Chelsea, with Tammy Browning-Smith officiating. Interment will take place at a later date at Oak Grove Cemetery in Chelsea.
C helsea’s willingness to send Charly Musonda on loan for the rest of the season has sparked interest from a host of Premier League clubs. Bournemouth, Watford, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion are all thought to have been alerted to Musonda’s availability.
Betty loved flower gardening, bird watching, and genealogy. She was a wonderful wife and mother. On June 78, 6956, she married Bernard G. Dahl, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 68, 7555. Survivors include three children, David (Debbie) Dahl of New Boston, MI, Ann L. (William) Breslin of McCordsville, IN, and Michael P. (Robin) Dahl of Chelsea 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchild.
Surviving is her son, William (Marsha) Minion of Tallahassee, Florida step-children: Nancy (Warren) Mead of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, Shirley Charbonneau of Chelsea, and Dennis (Deb) Caldwell of New Hampshire six grandchildren, Andrea, Greg, Lindsey, Lisa, Melissa and Michael, and eight great-grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy Kaufman of Washington, and one brother, Frank (Sue) Russell of Fallbrook, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents two husbands, George Minion and Carroll Caldwell two sisters, Martha Manning and Sarah Ekin and one brother, William Russell.
