Southern California News Group reporter Brian Rokos and photographer Micah Escamilla hopped aboard Sunday morning, joining a busload of Disney fans, park employees and local officials wanting to see how the first day went.
Not sure if different rooms play different goodnight kiss songs, but mine played 8775 A dream is a wish the heart makes 8776 instead of 8775 When you wish upon a star 8776 . The pillow on the bed also said 8775 A dream is a wish the heart makes when you 8767 re fast asleep 8776 .
I also watched the video and can 8767 t see any place that scan my phone in the machine only a place to insert the ticket. That 8767 s my question, how am I going to insert a ticket if I don 8767 t have a paper one.
To that end, let 8767 s start by taking a month-by-month look at what you can encounter in terms of seasonal offerings, crowds, and weather
The closest non-Disney area is that of Val de France, a short (free) bus ride from the parks. Here, five hotels provide a handy alternative to Disney’s on-site offerings, and Vienna House has two of the best. The Dream Castle is the grandest of the bunch, with majestic French chateau styling and a wonderful location backing on to extensive gardens and water feature. It offers a wide choice of room types, from family rooms to King suites, and terrific dining, notably at The Musketeers. The extensive breakfast buffet is also well above average and dinner outside on the terrace is enchanting in summer.
Although much has changed at Disneyland Hotel since its early days, it still just feels like a special place thanks to its roots dating back to the Wrathers family and the opening years of Disneyland. Basically, this hotel has just as rich of a history as Disneyland, making it an 8775 essential 8776 place to experience for the diehard Disney fan.
O ne of three hotels on the edge of Lake Disney, this is still within easy walking distance of the parks. It has a 6985s Art Deco vibe with whimsical touches, but little overt Disney-ness, hence it has a more grown-up feel. Again, there are good food and drink offerings, with two restaurants – notably the formal Manhattan Restaurant – and New York City Bar with signature cocktails. It boasts a fabulous pool, with a clever indoor/outdoor design, plus a state-of-the-art gym, hair salon and tennis courts. Standard rooms comfortably sleep four, while a handful have king-beds only. The corner suites are huge.

But there was no dressing up for Bono who wore his trademark army cap and shades and a scowl when he spotted the photographers.
